Clean World Will Be Running witj Hydrogen

Hydrogen is by far the most common element in the universe — it's what stars are mostly made of.

The lightest element might also be the stuff that saves the world, at least in the mind — and garage — of Timothy Dolan, who lives on Chestnut Hill Road in Trumbull. Over the last five years, he has been using the gas to run his barbecue, fuel a gas range, and even operate a lawn mower and a portable generator.

Critics have pointed out that renewable energy trade protectionism exists between the States

Last Tuesday, Governor Schwarzenegger issued an executive order that vetoed the California climate bill and replaced it with one of his own design. The vetoed bill contained a strict clause that would prevent out-of-state clean electricity, like the booming solar industry of Nevada, from competing with California companies. Schwarzenegger's replacement legislation is intended to allow free access to the California energy market, which leaves some worried about how California will be able to compete with electric companies in less regulated markets.

Arnold Schwarzenegger Debating Protectionism on Renewable Energy

One of the most noticeable of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s executive order on Tuesday increasing California’s renewable energy needs was his blunt stand against protectionism. Clean energy imported from other states was welcome, the governor said, to keep down electricity prices.
